They knew your name,
By it, they knew your kin
You carry it with no shame
Could’ve not seen you the same
No need to take it upon yourself.
I do deny your name,
Not that I deny you
Because of the weight its carries
My faculty to see through
Though it’s not your fault.
NYA surrenders to a space with which she’s acquainted.
NYA has always resisted peer pressure. She prefers to go to work on Sundays to avoid going to weddings and being asked about the reason behind 'waiting.'
As discreet as she is, NYA smiled ironically at me the first time I asked her to take her pictures.
NYA is finally enrolling in a literacy program. She wants to be on social media to share her photos.
She now knows she's a muse.
